Wie wärs mal mit der schlechtesten schauspielerischen Leistung? 
Mein Urteil dazu:

2. Michael Gambon
3. Alan Rickman
Meine Favoriten waren immer und bleiben auch die Darstellerinnen von McGonagall und Luna...

Eigentlich bin ich im Kino eine richtige Heulsuse. Beim Film "Brothers" beispielsweise habe ich mir die Augen aus dem Kopf geheult... Selbst bei "Hanna" habe ich geheult am Schluss...
Und ich bin ein treuer, HP-Fan. Als ich die Bücher las, habe ich auch so manche Träne vergossen.
Nicht aber bei diesen Machwerken. Wer kommt denn da bitte schön zum Heulen, bei dieser Schnittgeschwindigkeit und dieser emontionslosen Darstellung (geschuldet der Umsetzung, nicht unbedingt den Schauspielern - obwohl, Dan Radcliffe ist ja eine echte Katastrophe, von Anfang an).
Na ja. Mehr war wohl nicht drin, wenn es um Blockbuster geht...

Ich war überrascht von der Voldemort-jagt-Harry-durch-Hogwarts-und-verprügelt-ihn-Szene.
Was sollte das denn? Hat da einer nicht begriffen, worum es geht?
Voldemorts Seele war zwar kurz vorm zusammenbrechen, aber Dumbledore selbst hat gesagt, dass seine magischen Kräfte davon nicht beeinflusst seien. Und einem solchen Duell mit Voldemort wäre Harry niemals gewachsen gewesen. Und dieser Verprügel-Quatsch macht in meinen Augen die ganze Figur Voldemort lächerlich.
Überhaupt hatte dieses letzte Zusammentreffen der beiden nicht annähernd die Qualität, die sie im Buch hatte.
Aber, that's film business I suppose...

JKR hat in einem Interview gesagt: "It's a war movie. The first one is a road movie and the second is a war movie". Klar, sie war dann auch voll des Lobes über die Darsteller tralala.
Aber damit hat sie den Kern getroffen. Fast nichts von all den kleinen wertvollen Inhalten, die sich beim Lesen der Bücher erschließen, hat Raum bekommen.
Es ist ein action-Film. Aber keine ernst zu nehmende Verfilmung des Buches.

thanks for responding to my questions.
However, the story said, that Liliy's protection was inside both in the end - Harry and V.
And when V tried to kill Harry, how come, he did only kill his own part of soul? Was it sort of a rebound? And the only explanation why Harry himself did not die would mean, he was still protected by Lily's sacrifice.
That would also mean, however, that the Elder Wand would be the only weapon to really kill either Harry or V, because they could not hurt each other fatally except with a wand that is capable of anything (even repairing a wand that is destroyed by magic). So lucky for Harry that he was the true master of the Elder Wand.
If he hadn't been, he would have died, wouldn't he?
And considering this was right, in the end, when all Horcuxes were destroyed, someone else could have killed Voldemort, couldn't they?
This is all not clearly solved in my eyes...

Hey everybody,
would you mind going back to the topic of HP?
Because I do have an understanding problem, and I hope there is someone out there who is able to give me an explanation.
In book 7, Kings Cross, Harry and Dumbledore spoke about why Harry did not die after Voldemort attacked him with the killing curse.
D's explanation was, that V redoubled the bond by taking H's blood so that both of them would have Lily's protection which meant that none of them could die by the other's hand. Does that mean that Harry was, in the first place, only able to kill Voldemort with the ultimate weapon, the Elder Wand? Is this the reason, why Voldemort died in the end through Harry?
And what would have happend if someone else had been able to kill Harry or Voldemort? Would Lily's protection then have been useless, not working?
And if that is so, it would have made much more sense if someone else than Harry had tried to kill Voldemort (just assuming that the Elder Wand would not have been there).
Anybody got an answer to this?

Daniel Radcliffe sieht einfach so mega-oberpeinlich aus in dieser Szene. Ein begnadeter Schauspieler ist er ja eh nicht, aber diese verquaste Tanzszene ist - neben etlichen anderen - ein schönes Beispiel seiner Inkompetenz. Emma Watson spielt ihn in jeder gemeinsamen Szene an die Wand.
Wenn die Ausführlichkeit der letzten beiden HP-Teile auch lediglich finanzielle Gründe hat, so ist es doch nett, einmal mehr Buchnähe zu erleben. Ich hätte mir das für Teil 5 und Teil 3 auch gewünscht.

There are so many books worthwile reading.
At the moment I am into Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte's "Jane Eyre". The latter is not very difficult to read compared to Jane Austen's books, and it is very emotional.
Also I liked reading the original version of the "Northern Lights" series. I was so impressed about what the book had to offer in comparison to the poor cinema interpretation of the first part (Der Goldene Kompass).
If you are interested in fantasy with a possible knack of truth in it - then these are your books!

Hi everybody out there!
Has anybody seen the HBP in the original version yet? I have last week - I never watch them in German anymore because the synchron voices of the actors are so horrible, especially Hermiones! She sounds like she's still eleven in German!
Anyway although there are many critics concerning the HBP I enjoyed watching it very much - particulary McGonagall is so nice!

Offensichtlich hat es ja nicht nur was mit dem Standpunkt der betrachtenden Person zu tun. Wir Leser haben alle denselben Ausgangspunkt. Keinem Leser oder Leserin hat Snape Schaden zugefügt und dennoch sind die Lager so gespalten, gibt es glühende Hasser und euphorische Verteidiger.
Ich glaube man entscheidet darüber aus der eigenen Geschichte heraus. Nur, was sind die Voraussetzungen dafür. Sind die, die ähnliche "Ungerechtigkeit" erlebt haben Snape näher als andere und neigen dazu, ihn zu verteidigen, während Menschen, die eher "heile Welt-background" haben, zum Verurteilen neigen? Oder ist es umgekehrt?
Nach welchen Maßstäben dürfen wir urteilen, ob Snape bemitleidenswert ist oder nicht. Oder krasser: Hätte Snape Verachtung und Ausgrenzung verdient, wäre er am Leben geblieben?

Dass die Diskussion, ob Snape bemitleidenswert ist oder nicht, so intensiv und detalliert geführt wird, spricht für die Charakterzeichnung JKRs. Das ist doch spannend, wenn so viele in jemandem, der oberflächlich so viel Schlechtes getan hat, anderen so übel mitgespielt hat und so ein Unsympath ist, so vehement verteidigen...
Ich frage mich, was JKR da für eine Bewegung ins Denken bringen wollte. Jemand hat etwas Schlimmes getan - ist er deswegen auch ein schlechter Mensch? Jemand, der einem anderen weh tut, vielleicht ein Trauma beim anderen auslöst oder gar einen Schaden für's Leben verursacht - hat der trotzdem das Recht auf Sympathie, auf Mitleid?
Oder kann man das nur bei einer Romanfigur...

What a fantastic question!
Occlumency...the ability to shut away your emotions in order to not allow anybody to see through you...
I think Occlumency can help in your daily life. For example when you are arguing with somebody. If you manage to switch off the nasty feelings you are probably having towards your opponent you stay remarkably clear in your head and you will be able to discuss on a "cooler level" and irritate the other person.
Or when someboday attacks you verbally and you manage to stay clear in your head you have a good chance to come out of the argument as a winner!
Also Occlumency could help you seeing your feelings or problems from a distance so you can judge them better.
I think it's very useful!

Try His Dark Materials if you haven't already.
These books are so thrilling!
The first entitled "Northern Lights" (which would be "The Golden Compass") ist far more than the movie, I can promise.
The second "The Subtle Knife" is unbelievable...
And the third "The Amber Spyglass" opens a new way of recognising genesis...
I couldn't believe my eyes while reading it. Actually, I thought I was misunderstanding the message at first but was confirmed soon...
